Getting to grips with IOTN

On Wednesday 12th December, in the Copthorne Hotel, Culverhouse Cross, W. Cardiff.

Commencing at 6pm with a 2-course hot buffet & refreshments

 

Understand IOTN and the logic behind it

Appreciate the new referral system in developing future management of the occlusion 

Perfect what to look out for in check ups of the adolescent. The good and the bad! 

A reassurance that the Orthodontist isn't out to get you, the LHB want to tweak the system slightly

An opportunity to ask any Orthodontic questions (1.5hrs CPD)

 

I'm sure many of you know Tom already but if you dont; Tom graduated in 2002 from Cardiff and did VT, associate jobs, paediatrics and max fax along with his MFDS before embarking on a post graduate qualification in Orthodontics.

He studied Orthodontics in Cardiff where he gained his Masters in research and his Membership of Royal College of Edinburgh in Orthodontics.

He is currently working in The Orthodontic Centre, Cardiff gate as an associate.

Let’s clean up the root canal!!!

Update on chemo-mechanical preparation of the root canal system

On Friday 23rd November, in the Copthorne Hotel, Culverhouse Cross, W. Cardiff

Registration 8.30am, commencing at 9.00am

Objectives
Understand role of root canal preparation in Endodontics.
Become aware of role of chemical agents used in root canal treatment. It will include discussion on irrigants, medicaments and antibiotic use in Endodontics.
Discuss preparation instruments including the old and new instruments available. Discuss working length.
Update on preparation protocols currently recommended.
Simplify some protocols for GDP use with hand instruments and Nickel Titanium instruments.

Currently Maria’s time is divided between her endodontic referral practice in North London and teaching. She teaches undergraduates and postgraduates at the University of Birmingham and GDP courses at the Eastman CPD department. She also runs two Endodontic study clubs for General Practitioners.
