About Us
This society has been organised to allow dental professionals in the locality access to top speakers in the profession both from the UK and abroad. There are several existing IPG groups in the UK with which we shall liase, with respect to speakers both in the past and future events. The society is non-profit making and all funds recieved go directly to the course days. We hope to have 3-4 courses each year, which will be full day events and some evening events subject to funding. We also hope to have regular social events at a later date. A steering committee has been formed which will oversee speakers and arrange events.

Funding
Many firms both dental and non-dental have generously agreed to sponsor us and we are very grateful for this, we plan to provide a list of these which will be available online.
Membership
All courses will be allowable for CPD status, subject to official authorisation. Membership is open to all practitioners in the area, from GDP's to community staff and those in hospital posts.
At our inaugural meeting, a monthly subscription of £10 was agreed, a figure which we intend to hold to for the foreseeable future.
DPAS have kindly agreed to set up and administer the membership fees for the group.
